Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My incredible husband JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our extended family. The majority of people know me via my Instagram @annephung, where I document my life - the highs, the lows and everything inbetween. I came to America with my family and brothers in 1990 when I was one and a half years young. I'm not living my life and sharing it for you were it not because my parents are devoted to determination and dedication. Being aware of the possibility at a better future I aimed to be their proudest and had a clear vision in the direction of the success. In my mind, I could see the path I wanted to take for life. Go to college and get a degree. Be married. Buy a house. Get kids. This was my vision of what success looked like. But the reality of life changed my plans. The job I held in 2013 was something I dreaded. Status and money were not what I needed to feel happy. I thought I was living a solitary time to make a living. As I began to move towards my new life path I realized that personal training was my passion. I have a love for fitness, and I love being around people and helping people. My small business was started in 2014 and I'll be celebrating my 7th year of business success in the year 2021. As a Asian female working in the field, there are very few. As a coach, my goal is to inspire people to lead a healthy and happy life by creating sustainable lifestyles that cater to each individual's needs and goals. Additionally, I would like people to feel empowered to follow their dreams and be able to achieve whatever it is they wish for in life. While my career was taking off, I lost my mother. It was the worst of everything. Following an 8-year battle for a condition called Scleroderma, she's at peace at Heaven. I will never forget her and will always keep her in my thoughts and my heart. It's incredible how life can give us the exact lesson we need, even when we don't realize it. The loss of my mother affected me greatly and I believe she gave me a second chance at life. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. It was now time for her to transition to the next chapter of her life as well as my opportunity to lead one that was meaningful and enjoyable. As I enter my 30's, I'm alive and alert. of the fact that I live my life now and not merely existing like I was in my past. My story is made available to you so that I can be able to share my stories and thoughts. This can help you know you're not alone. You are capable of accomplishing anything you wish in your life. Therapy is vital and normal. Health is the best asset. Since death is the only thing that we can have, I hope you enjoy your life and die without regrets.
