It's clear that he is a true gentleman He is respected by of all Republicans and Democrats. Cheney has said that he regards the role of an honest yet discreet advisor to the Bush administration. Cheney was the first to accept the Republican Vice-Presidential nominating in 2007 said the he would be looking forward to serving under a president that will reach across the aisles and cooperate with political adversaries through goodwill and a shared purpose.
